We are pleased to welcome Professor Amar NATH Garg as a new editorial board member for the Algerian Journal of Engineering and Technology. Professor Garg is one of the most experienced and productive researchers in his field and we are honored to have him join our team.
Professor Garg is a retired Professor of Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a retired Professor Emeritus from the Amity University, Noida, India. He has over 45 years of research experience and 50 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate and undergraduate level.
He has published more than 180 papers in international journals, monographs, and chapters in books, as well as reviews of books in Indian J. Chemistry and Asian J. Chemistry. His research interests include Mössbauer spectroscopic studies of iron complexes, neutron activation analysis for geological, biological (biomedical and nutritional), and environmental studies, radiotracer methods, and radiation chemistry of solids and aqueous systems. He has guided 18 Ph.D. and 14 M.Phil/M.Tech. dissertations, along with a large number of M.Sc. projects (39).
Professor Garg has also achieved several awards and recognitions throughout his career, such as the NASA Co-Investigator (1974-76) at the University of Kentucky, USA, the Frederic Joliot-Curie Memorial Endowment Lecture Award, Pune University (2010), the Dr. M.V. Ramaniah Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award (2011) by IANCAS, and the Lifetime Achievement Award in Material Science by Nagpur University at ICFM 2015.
We are confident that Professor Garg's expertise and experience will be invaluable to the editorial board and will contribute significantly to the journal's mission of advancing engineering and technology research.
